Car Rental in Paris

Hi fellow travelers,

Car Rental is one of the issues that travelers have to tackle everywhere they go. Renting Cars and Bikes is one big headache if you are on a week long trip to Europe. Renting cars does not come the easy way there. There is a lot of tedious procedures that you may have to undergo before finally landing up with the steering in your hand. The rental charges also do not seem nominal then ! Well, the solution to all this is to find contacts online at your destination through social communities like Orkut of Hi5 and then search for communities like "Car Rental in Europe" "Rents cars in Paris" and stuff like that. Develop these personal contacts and strike a deal with them. And, who knows, you may also sell these contacts to other travelers facing the same problem !

Goan Cuisine

Hi travelers,

So, I am back with Goa again. One of the most catchy things about Goa is its culture. Goa has got a unique culture which is a seamless blend of east indian and Portuguese influence. The Portuguese have left a strong impact on every front of Goa's culture, especially the cuisine. I have always been a connoisseur of good food ! Goa's cuisine is dominated by sea food and authentic Goan cuisine. Goan cuisine has its authentic part in the way its own KING FISH is prepared. It is served as light boiled, or as a sizzler or even as a deep fry. King Fish is believed to be available only on Goan shores. Tiger Prawn, Fish fillets, Squids, Shark, Red Snapper, lobsters and Crabs are other sea food favorites. Lobsters are very famous in Goa. They do not cost you too much, and you can definitely afford it for the kind of taste they endow it with. There are several beach side restaurants that display sea food on glass chambers, where you can choose your favorite one, and on request, that will be prepared and served to you, in your style, fried, salted or grilled !

Goa is paradise

Hi friends,

This is to all frequent tourists and travelers. I had been to Goa last week for a week long trip with eleven of my friends. And, I must admit that it was one of the most mesmerizing ones I have ever been to. Goa was simply a paradise in every way I can imagine and see it. With all those lovely beaches, foreigners from the West, Europe and middle East, all that foreign booze- breezers, Fosters, Budweisers - and the never seem to end bikini parties, Goa is simply the best tourist destination for anyone looking forward to chilling out after a tiring month of work and toil. The best part about Goa is the fact that the union territory thrives mostly on tourism for its bread and butter. If you still have not been there, you are missing something. There is so much more about the place to be discovered. I am sure you will not share the same experience as I did.

Rome is Awesome

Hi friends,

This is great news for all travelers. I have got wonderful news about Rome. I have heard that Rome has great historical value and also cultural heritage. everyone of us know about the Colosseum and Shakespeare only made Rome more famous with his Julius Caesar. Rome is one of the most romantic places to spend your vacation with your spouse. Just imagine, such a historical place, your love amidst all that glorious remains of the once all powerful Roman empire. It's hard to describe Rome in a few words; a city so vast and rich in art, monuments and exquisite views, a historic city, which has preserved its charm and independence throughout the centuries.

Rome’s history can be read in every monument, and palazzo; in fact, each and every stone bears witness to the periods of splendour, decay, wars, and numerous architectural styles. The city could be described as a gigantic open-air museum, visited each year by millions of tourists, scholars and pilgrims from all over the world. It is hard to believe that Roman civilization began with a small settlement of shepherds and farmers near the Tevere river, on Palatino (one of the seven hills on which Rome was built and where most of the Roman archaeological treasures were found), tradition dictates that this is where Romulus founded the city and where Augustus, the first Emperor, built his house, which is now widely (and incorrectly) known as the house of Livia, his wife.

So, don't leave behind Rome if you are considering places for a good vacation with your family or even a special honeymoon !

Pork Chops

Hi epicure,
I am back after quite a bit of a sabbatical. But this time, I 'm getting down heavy with Pork meat. There are so many ways to make Pork. Pork is one of the most commonly purchased meat in the west. Pork is also considered to be a very special meat used on occasions like Christmas and Easter. Ham and Cheese make wonderful combinations on picnics. have never been a big fan of Pork Chops. That is until I started cooking them on the grill. I grew up with pan fried, pan dried, chops drowned in pepper or some spice and tough as shoe leather. There is another way to do chops though, cooked quickly on the grill, with a flavorful, but not too strong marinade. Cooked to perfection, chops can be tender, moist and full of flavor. The chop will continue to cook for a few minutes after you remove it from the grill if you let it sit in a protected place for about 5 minutes. As with steaks you learn with experience. Pay close attention the color, smell, texture and density of the perfect chop, or you can go buy a meat thermometer. It's really up to you. You want to remove a pork chop from the grill when the internal temperature reaches 145 degrees F. So, try your chops for now. If is doesn work that well, do message me, I will get back to you with more information.

Bon Appetit !
